Nick Jonas Marries Priyanka Chopra

The 26-year-old singer of hits like “Close” and one-third of the Jonas Brothers, tied the knot to girlfriend and 36-year-old Quantico star, Priyanka Chopra, in a two hour Christian ceremony Saturday, December 1, followed by a traditional Hindu ceremony Sunday – with both families present, according to an US Weekly report.

After announcing their impending nuptials via Instagram in August, the pair opted for a speedy engagement, marrying in an extravagant wedding in the bride’s home country of India.

The couple held both a Christian and Indian ceremony, and had the entire bridal party, including Jonas and Chopra, wear custom Ralph Lauren. Chopra stunned in a colorful Indian dress, while Jonas chose more neutral hues.

According to US Weekly, Jonas and Chopra danced to Roberta Flack’s “First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.”

“One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and culture. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so amazing,” Jonas said Saturday on Instagram.

Guests enjoyed a dance off between the two families, which both Jonas and Chopra posted on Instagram.

It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love.  Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends…#grateful @nickjonas: @calebjordanlee @josevilla @josephradhik

The wedding weekend also featured a three-minute firework display and a special performance by Indian singer Manasi Scott.

The two looked beyond happy, matching their moods to the colorful wedding festivities and color palette. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for the pair!
